Print Design: Master Builders Building Excellence Awards VIP Invitation

In 2023, I once again had the privilege of working with Renee from Roar Marketing on the creative for the Master Builders Building Excellence Awards.

This prestigious event is held every year to award excellence in the building and construction industry in South Australia. In 2023, the design concept aimed to show that the building and construction industry is deeply rooted in nature, drawing from its bountiful raw materials to create beauty.

Design Rationale:

The design shows that emerging from the earth, we find sand, ore, stone, and trees which become the building elements used by the building and construction industry: concrete, wood, glass, and steel. The organic movement of the design reflects new building styles that mimic nature with flowing and sweeping curves. The elements grow into a tower of straight lines to resemble an office building or tower. The design has upward and forward movement to allude to the idea that the industry is striving towards excellence which is celebrated by the awards event. The design shapes form a pathway showing that Master Builders SA offers a pathway to resources and training within the industry.

The invitation was printed in 4 colour process and embellished with a silver foil.
