In 2016 I had the privilege of working with Marx. Real Estate to create the brand for their new Real Estate company. The logo we designed told the story of their brand.
Now in 2021, a move into a brand new office highlighted that they had outgrown their brand and offered an opportunity to update the brand to better reflect their new mission, values and outlook.
In updating the brand our goal was to maintain brand equity by keeping the logo recognisable whilst simplifying the brand with a more minimal design. The icon of the arrow was replaced simply with the ‘X’ and ‘.’ to literally represent the original story in a minimal way… ‘X marks the spot’. We have retained the font, but minimised the colour pallet to the navy and sky blues for a fresh, open and welcoming new look.
