It was a pleasure to work with Maz McGann from Play Your Part on the Creative Spaces National Public Galleries Summit 2023 branding.

The brief was to create a colourful and stylish brand that spoke to the purpose and vision of the summit, whilst appealing to the creative audience. The brand is designed to mirror the objectives of the summit. As the summit aims to bring creative people together, so the logo brings the word ‘creative’ together, connecting the letters and forming ‘creative spaces’. The summit delegates share ideas and work toward shaping creative spaces for the promotion of the art industry.

The target audience; artists and creatives; are able to decipher the negative spaces and gain a clear picture of the brand, alluding to the idea that it is the details, learning and connections we make in the creative spaces that enable us to gain a clear perspective on the future of the creative space stakeholders. The colour pallet reflects the 6 stake holders; artists, arts workers, gallerists, volunteers, sector bodies and government; each represented by a colour and the pink, orange and red connect the summit to RGASA.

I provided a logo package containing the necessary files to implement the brand along with a style guide to ensure consistency in the event artworks.
