In 2014 I had the privilege of working with Barbara Storey and Lisa from Elemental and on the then new branding for Elemental. 

Elemental offered an eclectic collection of beautifully hand crafted items sourced from artisans around the globe, including their home base, the Barossa Valley. Their products were hand made each with a unique story, and could be bought online at their Tanunda store.

In creating this logo I wanted to tell the story that the products were hand made with love. To do this I styled the logo in a heart shape made of a symbolic hand. The hand also resembled an ‘e’ referring to the name of the store. The icon could also look like the little paper baskets we all made as kids. 

I kept the logo clean and simple to reflect the minimal ‘Scandinavian’ style of the shop which was further supported by the clean and easy to read font.
