I had the privilege of working with Rebekah Doeke (nee Rosenzweig) on her first book, ‘A History of the Barossa Vintage Festival: Past & Present Events.’
Once my part in the project is complete and the artwork has been sent to the printer, I seldom see the final published product. Therefore, I was very pleased to have been invited to the book launch where I received my own signed copy of the book.
The book documents the history of the Barossa Vintage Festival, from its beginning in 1947, to the present. It is filled with photographs from the festival archives and members of the Barossa community. As I created its pages, it brought back nostalgic memories of my time living in the Barossa, and I’m sure it will do the same for anyone who has lived in the Barossa or visited the festival.
If you have an interest in the Barossa Vintage Festival, I encourage you to get in touch with Rebekah to purchase the book.
