Packaging: Barossa Valley Ice cream

I was privileged to collaborate with Barossa Valley Ice Cream on updating their packaging, bringing a refined and professional touch to their beloved brand. While the brand already had a strong identity, our goal was to elevate it further by enhancing its visual appeal and aligning it more closely with the essence of the Barossa Valley.

Our redesign centered around the existing background image, to which we added the iconic rolling hills of the Barossa Valley. These rolling hills, reminiscent of ice cream scoops, seamlessly integrate with the Barossa Valley Ice Cream logo, creating a cohesive and inviting visual experience.

To truly capture the spirit of the Barossa Valley, we incorporated elements that reflect the region’s rich heritage. The rows of vineyards and fields are interspersed with depictions of churches, factories, tractors, and cellar doors – all staples of the Barossa landscape. 

To signify the premium quality of Barossa Valley Ice Cream, we introduced a pop of gold foil on different features for each label. This subtle yet striking addition highlights the superior craftsmanship and attention to detail that goes into every scoop.

The result is a packaging design that beautifully marries tradition with modernity, reflecting the rich agricultural heritage of the Barossa Valley while presenting a fresh and professional image. It was an honor to be part of this project and to help Barossa Valley Ice Cream continue to delight their customers with both exceptional taste and captivating packaging.
