A white vase holds autumn leaves in shades of red, orange, and brown. To the left, four Pantone color swatches are displayed: Red Orange 1665C, Scarlet Smile 7427C, Italian Plum 7659C, and White Swan 7644C. Each swatch matches the colors in the leaves.

Be Inspired by the Colours of Autumn

I just love Autumn! I love the colour of the leaves and the cool sunny days. It’s Just beautiful. As an artist and a designer, this time of year it is a must to visit the Mount Lofty Botanic Gardens and enjoy the festival of colour. I just find the colours so inspiring!

As my logo is black and white, I love that I can change my colour palette to match the season or trend. This Autumn the colour palette I’v chosen was inspired by the Pantone New York Fashion Week Palette Autumn/Winter 2024/2025, and includes Red Orange, Scarlet Smile, Italian Plum and White Swan. Look out for the new palette in my socials throughout the season.

Do you have a favourite season that inspires you?

Colour is an important element of business’ visual identity. The colours you use can convey emotions, values, and personality traits associated with your business and help create a memorable and recognisable identity that sets you apart from competitors.

Consistency in using your colours across your marketing materials, such as logos, websites, stationery and socials, strengthens brand recognition and builds trust with your customers. This is why I always provide a stylesheet or style guide that includes the colour data you need to effectively use your brand colours.

Did you know colours can also have psychological effects on people’s perceptions and behaviors? By selecting a color that aligns with your target audience’s preferences and cultural associations you can attract their attention.
